He states that the first dwellers of the village came from the fortress itself, the name of which was not originally Almas, but Almos, as the father of the settler price, Arpad. Kezdialmas used to be a characteristic Seller soldier village, the 90 percent of its inhabitance lived according to the strict army rules even in the 19th century. The duty of those who lived here was to guard the borders but they also took part in the most significant national movements. So in the 1848 independence war we 57 men from Almas and 15 from Csomortan served in the army according to the documents. For a long time the soldier families lived separated from those who chose the peasent life, but today only the names of the streets are telling stories about this. At present the more important parts of the village are indicated by modern traffic signs: Alszeg, Kanta, Fuzfalva, Baksafalva and Ujszer.

The oldest part of Kezdialmas is the Baksa street, also known as Baksafalva. In its neighborhood we can find Liliom, Bolhaszeg and Pike. Ujszer, which is along the main road, is also known as “the new Bucharest”, as those families moved here at the beginning of the 20th century who served in Bucharest between the two word bankruptcies. The road that takes us from the center of the village towards the railway station has been known as the Dallas street.

The main source of living for the locals is agriculture and animal breeding, most of the women go to work to Kezdivasarhely or Esztelnek. Due to the well kept road system traveling is easy, the railway system of Felsoharomszek, which dates back to the beginning of the 20th century, goes by the border of the village, so any point in the country can easily be reached from here.
